Mk2. NFS/AFS.

An 1939 dated National Fire Service helmet, with the NFS decal to the front. The Fire Force number has been scratched off, but it came with an AFS uniform with the NFS badge and FF number 15, whose HQ was at Taplow.
 It was originally factory finished in smooth khaki green paint, with in white AFS (Auxiliary Fire Service) and two bands for section leader.
 The Mk1 liner was made by HELMETS Ltd 1939.
