Mk2. Auxillery Fire Service.

As of August 1941, the vast majority of AFS helmets were over painted and an NFS decal applied.
Which makes it  very hard to find an original AFS marked helmet.
Helmet shows lots of wear and paint loss, the Mk1 liner is very dry but has an unbroken lace. Helmet dated 1939 and made by RO&Co, liner also 1939 but made by HELMETS Ltd.
